Internationalist Event for the 108th Anniversary Of The October Revolution

On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 November 2025, the KKE held an Internationalist Event to commemorate the 108^th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution, under the theme: “Timely messages of the October Revolution in our contemporary struggle for socialism under conditions of imperialist war”.

Dimitris Koutsoumbas, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the KKE, gave the keynote speech at the event.

The following twenty-six Communist and Workers’ parties participated in the event:

Algerian Party for Democracy and Socialism (PADS), Argentinian Communist Party, Party of Labour of Austria, Communist Party of Denmark, Communist Workers' Party - for Peace and Socialism (Finland), Communist Revolutionary Party of France, Revolutionary Party - Communists (France), Communist Party (Germany), Communist Party of Greece, Workers Party of Ireland, Communist Front (Italy), Socialist Movement of Kazakhstan, Communist Party of Mexico, New Communist Party of the Netherlands, Communist Party of Pakistan, Palestinian Communist Party, Paraguayan Communist Party, Organisation of Communists (Russia), Communist Party of the Workers of Spain, Communist Party of Sweden, Swiss Communist Party, Syrian Communist Party, Communist Party of Turkey, Union of Communists of Ukraine, Communist Workers’ Platform USA, Communist Party of Venezuela.

At the event, the participating parties decided to issue a Joint Statement, which is open for signatures from other Communist and Workers’ Parties.
